“I as a director was quite interested in tarwangsa music, the interest increased when I watched live performances of tarawangsa tjikondang. then the question arose; how to play it, who is the teacher, how to memorize the tone, and many more questions that arose in my head. until finally I made that question the basis for this short documentary film. While the decision to make this short documentary film experimental, is based on my desire to harmonize the tarawangsa music itself with the player as well as with the listener or audience, namely myself. so that the hope is that this short documentary film provides a new experience for the audience in enjoying a short documentary film.”
